Therapies we offer

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

CBT is a popular therapy due to its strong evidence base, logical approach and excellent recovery rates. This is a short term, structured therapy, which can be used to treat a range of common difficulties including Anxiety, Depression and Stress.

Eye Movement Desensitisation and Re-processing (EMDR)

EMDR is a short term, focused therapy predominantly used to treat PTSD by harnessing the minds own ability to process traumatic events. This approach has a strong evidence based for treating trauma and a developing evidence base for treating other Anxiety & Depression conditions.

Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT)

Mindfulness is widely recognised for its benefits on wellbeing, particularly in helping people to become more present and less preoccupied with thoughts. The greatest evidence base for Mindfulness is in relapse prevention for recurrent Depression and pain management, although there is a growing evidence base in other areas also.

Client Feedback

“I have been very pleased with the outcomes from the therapy, the effects of the incident have now been reduced to zero. The online sessions were very easy to set up and convenient with the lock down in full swing. I even managed one in the cab of a bus when my work schedule was changed at short notice. I have nothing negative to say about my sessions, my therapist was very easy to talk to and the resources and handouts used were very clear and concise.”

Stephen

“My therapist filled me with confidence from start to finish, something that must be quite tricky when dealing with a very anxious person. She gently took me through what GAD is, and the step by step process of treating it. The course of treatment was around 4 months, and there were some pretty hard and uncomfortable moments, but I have emerged a much happier, calmer person, and feel properly set up now for this never to get such a tight hold on me again.”

Adam

“I found the therapy to be really beneficial, the skills learned over the course have helped me greatly in overcoming many issues I had.”

Anon

“I was initially apprehensive and unsure as to whether CBT could help me as I felt that my issues were too deep routed and diverse…however I was totally proved wrong as I have made great progress in a short space of time and am now much more in control of my mental health.”

Heidi

“My therapist comes across as very friendly and non-judgmental, she helped me return from the edge of serious meltdown and has provide me with the tools and capability of managing myself moving forward, I’m very happy with the progress I’ve made and the massive difference between where I was in my am now.”
