Therapies we offer

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

CBT is a popular therapy due to its strong evidence base, logical approach and excellent recovery rates. This is a short term, structured therapy, which can be used to treat a range of common difficulties including Anxiety, Depression and Stress.

Eye Movement Desensitisation and Re-processing (EMDR)

EMDR is a short term, focused therapy predominantly used to treat PTSD by harnessing the minds own ability to process traumatic events. This approach has a strong evidence based for treating trauma and a developing evidence base for treating other Anxiety & Depression conditions.

Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT)

Mindfulness is widely recognised for its benefits on wellbeing, particularly in helping people to become more present and less preoccupied with thoughts. The greatest evidence base for Mindfulness is in relapse prevention for recurrent Depression and pain management, although there is a growing evidence base in other areas also.

Client Feedback

“This therapy was amazing and has genuinely helped me so much.”

Josh

“My therapist provided a very professional service and was excellent in navigating through the CBT sessions. She provided useful guidance through the activities and was thoughtful and encouraging throughout. The use of zoom for the sessions instead of face-to-face meetings was different, however, it was soon found to be positive and had the added benefit in avoiding travelling to a venue.”

Gareth

“I’d tried so many CBT therapists before with different services and haven’t got anywhere. Meeting my current therapist and working with her has made me become a whole new person, and if in the future I fall, I will certainly be calling her to help me get back up. My therapist is simply the best and no one will ever be able to do what she has done for me. Thank you.”

Rachel

“I have been very pleased with the outcomes from the therapy, the effects of the incident have now been reduced to zero. The online sessions were very easy to set up and convenient with the lock down in full swing. I even managed one in the cab of a bus when my work schedule was changed at short notice. I have nothing negative to say about my sessions, my therapist was very easy to talk to and the resources and handouts used were very clear and concise.”

Stephen

“My therapist has been tremendous in her support and helping me through what has been a traumatic time in my life (Thank you so much!)”
