Tina Hollingsworth, Founder and Clinical Director of Sereno Therapy, brings extensive experience and expertise as a highly regarded CBT Therapist and Supervisor. Her career in mental health began in 2002, spanning diverse roles that have deepened her understanding of the field and shaped her client-centred approach.
In 2010, Tina completed a Post-Graduate Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), followed by specialised CBT supervisor training. This foundation has guided her commitment to delivering high-quality, evidence-based therapy solutions.
Driven by a passion for excellence in mental health care, Tina founded Sereno Therapy in 2019 to provide accessible, high-quality online therapy services. She has played a key role in shaping the company’s approach, ensuring that clients receive tailored support from experienced therapists across a range of evidence-based modalities.
Currently, Tina is taking a break from clinical practice to focus on the continued growth and development of Sereno Therapy. She remains actively involved in overseeing the company’s operations, completing assessments, leading corporate training events, and supporting therapist mentorship. With a strong commitment to evidence-based care, Tina ensures that every client is matched with the right therapist for their needs, championing online therapy as a flexible and effective avenue for meaningful change.
Ieuan

MBCT Practitioner & IPT Therapist
Ieuan is a Consultant EMDR Therapist and Supervisor, accredited CBT Therapist and Supervisor, as well as a trained Mindfulness practitioner and Interpersonal Therapist. He has worked as a Psychological Therapist since 2008 when he completed his initial CBT training and specialises in working with PTSD, Insomnia, and treatment resistant Anxiety. Ieuan also has a special interest in and is able to provide pre-operative Psychological therapy to manage operation anxiety & post-operative pain.
He is an award winning Psychological Therapist whose work has been published in scientific journals. He has also lectured at a National level on his innovative work around post-operative pain and recovery, and has been featured on the BBC news.
Ieuan has a special interest in Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) and has been facilitating MBCT courses regularly for over 8 years after completing his training in this. He is the lead therapist in Sereno Therapy’s MBCT courses which are run on a regular basis.
Ieuan is also a trained, experienced and accredited EMDR and CBT Supervisor and is able to provide online supervision to Therapists. Due to his consultant EMDR status, Ieuan can provide EMDR supervision which will be recognised towards therapists accreditation. He is very experienced in completing CTSR assessments as well as BABCP supervisor reports.
Rachel

Rachel is a CBT Therapist and EMDR Therapist, with a MSc in Counselling Psychology. She is incredibly experienced, having completed her initial CBT training in 2010. Since then she has worked with a wide range of presentations, and is experienced at supporting clients to overcome difficulties such as trauma, depression, anxiety, emetophobia and self-esteem issues among others.
Rachel has completed additional specialist training to work with clients with long term health conditions and has a special interest and many years experience working with post-natal depression and anxiety.
Rachel describes being passionate about her work, she believes it is a huge honour to be trusted with someone's story and to be part of supporting them to work towards better emotional wellbeing.
She has also completed CBT supervisor training in 2017 and has supported many therapists in their clinical practice since then. She is able to support therapists to meet or maintain BABCP accreditation requirements for supervision and is a very compassionate and supportive supervisor.
Mariya

IPT Therapist
Mariya is an accredited and experienced CBT Therapist and IPT Therapist. She has a Masters Degree in Health Psychology and is in the process of completing her training to become a fully qualified Health Psychologist.
She has many years of experience working in mental health, and has specialised in CBT since 2017. Over this time, Mariya has worked with a wide range of clients and currently supports people to overcome issues with depression, a wide range of anxiety disorders and PTSD.
Mariya specialises in working with clients struggling with long-term health conditions including medically unexplained symptoms, chronic pain and cancer.
She also has a special interest in adapting CBT cross-culturally (specifically to South Asian cultures), and is a bilingual Therapist, able to work with clients in Punjabi as well as English.
In addition, Mariya is a qualified and experienced CBT Supervisor, able to support qualified and trainee therapists to gain or maintain their BABCP accreditation and enhance their clinical practice.

Maria is an accredited CBT therapist with a Masters Degree in Health Psychology. She has over 10 years experience supporting clients with emotional wellbeing across a range of difficulties such as worry and stress, OCD, Social or other specific phobias, Panic and PTSD. She is experienced at working with clients with neurodiversity, and adapting therapy as required to meet individual needs.
Maria has a special interest in supporting people with long-term physical health conditions such as fibromyalgia, cancer, cardiac issues, chronic pain and others, using CBT and Acceptance & Commitment Therapy techniques; Her main goal is to help people see themselves as a whole and not through the lens of their health conditions as well as to enable them to improve the quality of their life.
Maria is a bilingual Therapist able to work with clients in English and Greek.
Laura
Integrative Counsellor & Supervisor
IPT Therapist & Supervisor
Laura is a qualified and highly experienced Integrative Counsellor and IPT Therapist, and an accredited member of both the BACP and IPT UK. She has over 20 years’ experience of supporting people with a range of issues including depression, grief, stress, relationship issues and life changes.
As a counsellor, Laura is able to support clients with a range of difficulties to gain a deeper understanding and begin to heal from painful experiences. As an IPT therapist, she is able to support clients with interpersonal and relational difficulties, as well as facilitating adjustment to life transitions. Holding two different theoretical approaches allows Laura to offer a range of support that can be tailored to suit client needs.
Laura has a wealth of experience, and has been instrumental in developing courses in bereavement support. She has a special interest of working with clients with underling health issues exploring acceptance and adjustment to enable individuals to live full and happy lives.
Laura is a trained and experienced Counselling Supervisor, working mainly in the seven eyed model of supervision. She is also an accredited and very well established IPT Supervisor, able to support qualified therapists as well as trainee’s towards their accreditation. Laura has a vast amount of experience, having worked in two of the largest IPT training providers in the UK.
