Rachel is an accredited CBT Therapist, as well as a qualified Integrative Counsellor and EMDR Therapist. She has gained clinical experience through both the NHS and private practice, assessing and treating depression as well as a range of different anxiety disorders. Rachel has specialist training in working with clients with long term health conditions using CBT and in treating PTSD using EMDR.

She gained her degree in Integrative Counselling from Roehampton University in 2008 where she studied and practised Person Centred, Psychodynamic, Kleinian and existential approaches.  Following her degree, she went on to further study and specialise in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, gaining a Postgraduate Certificate (PGC) in Low Intensity Cognitive Behavioural Therapy at Exeter University and then a Postgraduate Diploma (PG dip) in CBT for Depression and Anxiety from Southampton University.  She has qualified as an EMDR therapist through EMDR Europe Association and is currently working towards her accreditation.

Rachel is also a qualified CBT Supervisor and is able to provide online supervision to CBT Therapists. She is particularly interested in supporting clinicians to work within BABCP criteria using CBT models whilst drawing on additional training and skills (such as integrative counselling).
